What it does

98 GIMP commands on 12 remappable category keys: drop a category key on the deck, pick the exact command in the property inspector, and the key wears that command's artwork. 92 send GIMP's own macOS shortcut and 5 press the item on GIMP's own menu bar.
The Touch Tool Bar: 37 toolbox tools on the Stream Deck + touch screens, one glyph each. The Stream Deck + spreads them over two pages; the Stream Deck + XL fits 36 on one and leaves out Zoom, because the dial above it already does that.
A number pad of 18 keys that type into any GIMP field, a brush size, a layer offset, a canvas dimension: digits, double zero, decimal point, minus, plus, Tab, Enter, Escape and Backspace.
Four dial jobs seated on both Stream Deck + profiles, and a GIMP Dial you place yourself that picks its job in the property inspector: canvas zoom, undo and redo, layer navigation up and down the stack, and brush size, which accelerates so a big change is one flick.
Six bundled profiles, one per device, each arriving with its first page filled. The larger decks open on a colour-coded hub of 12 category doors, and the Stream Deck XL and Stream Deck + XL carry the number pad beside it. Easy Link sits top left on all six.
Every key can play a sound on press, with 41 bundled, through your Mac's own audio output. Your own WAV clips in Documents/Pathfinder Sounds join the picker.

Built for GIMP 3.2.4 on macOS 13 or later. Requires the Stream Deck app 7.5 or newer, higher than the rest of the line. Profiles are bundled for six decks: the 15-key Stream Deck, the Stream Deck +, the Stream Deck + XL, the 32-key Stream Deck XL, the Stream Deck Mini and the Stream Deck Neo. The dials and the Touch Tool Bar need one of the two Stream Deck + models.
Click OK when macOS asks to let Elgato Stream Deck control System Events. Accessibility has no prompt: add Elgato Stream Deck under System Settings, Privacy & Security, Accessibility, then quit and reopen the Stream Deck app.
The 5 menu-bar commands need GIMP's menus in English. Anchor Layer has no stock shortcut on macOS: assign one inside GIMP, capture it on the key, and the key sends that.
Keys send only while GIMP or one of its own dialogs is the front window, so a stray press never lands in another app. Every key is remappable: changed a shortcut inside GIMP, give the key the same combination.

True of every plugin we make

Every key carries the app's own shortcut for that command, and every key is remappable. Type your combination into the key's property inspector (its settings panel in the Stream Deck app) or click Capture and press it once. Where an app leaves a command unbound, the key still reaches it by the route that app exposes.
Keystrokes go to the front window and nothing steals focus, so keep the target app in front when you press.
Every command has its own drawn key art, so the deck reads at a glance instead of listing shortcuts.
